A few months ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Kasia for a studio photo shoot. Like many people, she arrived feeling a little nervous at first — it’s completely normal! But with a bit of gentle guidance and laughter, those nerves quickly turned into smiles. Before long, Kasia was relaxed and enjoying the moment, and together we created a collection of beautiful, natural portraits that truly reflected her personality.
What I loved most about this session was its simplicity. Kasia didn’t bring a suitcase of outfits or hire a stylist. She wore black trousers, a simple T-shirt with a blazer, and a lovely textured black dress. Her makeup was natural, her hair effortless, and yet the results were absolutely stunning.
It’s a wonderful reminder that you don’t need to go over the top for a photoshoot. When you feel comfortable and confident, your true self shines — and that’s what makes a photograph special.
