After the mother–daughter portraits, it was time to let the girls shine on their own — and they absolutely did. Watching them together was like watching pure joy take shape. No posing, no pressure… just friendship, laughter, and that beautiful sense of freedom that belongs only to young people. These moments truly embody the spirit of Portraits of Friendship and Freedom.
They ran, twirled, whispered secrets, and burst into giggles that filled the whole place. It didn’t matter that we’d been shooting in the same location all day; the moment they stepped forward together, the space transformed. Suddenly it felt lighter, brighter — shaped by their energy and their bond, reminiscent of Portraits of Friendship and Freedom.
There’s something special about photographing this stage of life. The innocence, the confidence, the playfulness… all sitting side by side. These girls reminded me how precious these in-between years are — still young, but already full of personality and dreams, capturing the essence of Portraits of Friendship and Freedom.
My goal was simply to keep up with them and capture the genuine moments:
the spontaneous laughter, the way they leaned into each other, the spark in their eyes. Sessions like this are a celebration of friendship, youth, and the promise of everything ahead.
These images are a reminder of how beautiful it is to grow up — especially when you’re doing it with a friend by your side.
